Education Ministry has Suspended the SSC/equivalent Exams 2015

SSC exams 2015 postponed

The education ministry has rescheduled the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams which was decided to start on February 02, 2015.

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations will now begin on February 04, 2015 due to the three-day hartal called by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.

Bangla first paper examination supposed to be held on February 02 (Monday) has been rescheduled for February 06 (Friday) from 9:00 am to 12:00 PM noon, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said at a briefing at his ministry in Dhaka this afternoon.

The rest exams will be held as per schedule amid the alliance's nationwide blockade, the minister said.

Account BenefitHe said, "Inhuman activities are taking place across the country in the name of hartal and blockade. We cannot push our students to such violence, ignoring our responsibility. So, we took decision to reschedule the exams for the sake of the students."

"I hope that BNP will refrain from calling hartal for the interest of the SSC examination", he added.

Around 70 to 80 people have already become victims of such violence, the minister said.

Meanwhile, State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, while talking to reporters, said the law enforcers will provide service as per requirement of the education ministry over the SSC examination.
