Four Teachers of SIU Won the American Scholarship

Scholarship achiever teachers of SIU

Four teachers of Sylhet International University (SIU) have won the American scholarship.

Four teachers of English Department of the University achieved the E-Teacher Scholarship under the Bureau of the Educational and Cultural Affairs of US Department of States.

The teachers will receive training on modern education and learning skills of the different semesters of the university under the prominent university in America- University of Oregon.

The scholarship achiever teachers are Chairman of the English department Mahbub Ibn Siraj; Senior Lecturer, Ashraful Hasan; Senior Lecturer, Pronab Kanti Dev; and Senior Lecturer, Swaty Rani Debnath.

Account BenefitMeanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor of Sylhet International University, Professor Dr. Sushant Kumer Das congratulated the teachers for achieving the scholarship.

In a congratulatory message, he said university is the place of practicing knowledge and creation. Students must be educated with modern education through making the proper skills of teachers.

He said, there is no alternative of teachers training. He urges to apply the earned knowledge for the welfare of students and the university.
