RU Delays Publication of Results: Increasing Session Jam

The results of three departments at Rajshahi University (RU) are not published yet after passing maximum 9 months of taken different years final examinations.

Students alleged that it is being occurred due to the idleness of the teachers. They complained that, the education life has taken more time to end for those departments that already in session jam. Related teachers blamed some of the teachers for that.

RU authority was admitted students in two newly launched departments under the academic session 2014-2015 without any teacher and syllabus.

Students alleged that a third year course exam of Rajshahi University (RU) for the academic year 2009-10 was taken in the fourth year.

A third year course exam remains excluded although all of the exams was taken in due time. The 25 numbers exam was taken on July 16, 2014 after passing nearly a year.

Students of the department said, the third year final exam of Genetics Engineering and Biotechnology Department was ended in the middle of the last year. After this 11 months have passed already. But the results have not been published after passing one year.

Account BenefitRecently the exam committee taken an initiative to publish the result, but they have found that the 25 marks exam of 'Field Research' was not be taken. That's why the notice was published on July 15, 2014 to take the exam. The Field Research exam was arranged at the Science and Handloom Research Center, Rajshahi.

Students complained, suddenly the Department put the pressure for Field Research exam. And the students also asked to submit a report within 3:00 pm in the afternoon. They did not do the work very well in that short time.

Department sources said the month-long exams began on June 31, 2013. They added that according to the university rules result of any exam must be published within six months of sitting for that exam.

Some students of the department expressed their frustration of not getting their exam result even after passed a year.
