Dhaka Polytechnic Institute Offering Basic Trade Courses

Short courses for low educated person

Some people could not run their education to a desired level. Low educated persons are not being capable of getting better jobs.

Dhaka Polytechnic Institute (DPI) offering some 6-month long Basic Trade Courses for those disadvantaged persons. The admission circular for those courses were published recently. You can also be a self-dependent person by taking one of those courses.

Subjects of Basic Trade Course: Dhaka Polytechnic Institute offers a total of 14 courses. Among them, Computer Office Applications, Computer Hardware and Networking, Auto-mechanic, General Electrician, Welding-Gas and Ark, Building and Architectural Drafting, Food Processing and Preservation, Food and Beverage Production, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Aminship, Electrical House Wiring, General Mechanics, Machinery and Rod Binding, and Plumbing and Pipe Fitting.

Application Process and Eligibility: Application form distributing was started already. Application form can be collected from the related departments of the Institute by depositing Tk. 10/-. Classes will be started from January 2015.

Account BenefitPrincipal of Dhaka Polytechnic Institute, Md. Mostafizur Rahman said an admission test may be taken by verifying the applications if the candidates limit exceeds. Candidates have to pass SSC for Computer Office Applications, Computer Hardware and Networking, Aminship, and Building and Architectural Drafting courses. Class Eight pass will be granted for all other courses.

Admission Fee and Working Fields: Candidates have to give Tk. 3,000 - 6,800/- for admission in any of those courses. But Tk. 9,370/- will be required for Welding-Gas and Ark course.
