Two-day Long Job Fair Ends on Rajshahi University Campus

2nd City Bank-RUCC Job Fair

Rajshahi University Carrier Club (RUCC) and City Bank are jointly organizing the fair titled '2nd City Bank-RUCC Job Fair-2014'.

The President of RUCC Imrul Kabir Khan said about 20 companies were participated in the fair where the companies offered spot job after taking curriculum vitae from students and interviewing them on the spot.

RU Vice-Chancellor Professor Muhammad Mizanuddin inaugurated the fair at old Folklore Chattar on the campus as the chief guest around 9:30 am while RU Pro-VC Professor Chowdhury Sarwar Jahan, students' adviser Professor Sadekul Arefin Matin, Proctor Professor Tarikul Hasan, Dean of business studies faculty Professor Amzad Hossain and RUCC advisor Muhammad Mazedul Islam attended as the special guests.

Account BenefitAbout 15 carrier-based seminar was held on the two days' fair while some 15 reputed corporate personalities of different multinational companies attended there as resource persons, he said.

The seminars was held at Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium and Dean's complex conference room on the both days from morning to evening. The fair was opened for the students from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every day.
