Prominent child doctor Md. Hossain was established "Update Dental College and Hospital" to create efficient dental surgeon.

Currently the classes of 7th batch and process of admission in 8th batch has begun. Here are the 82 teachers received their degrees from country and abroad. Of them, 12 professors, 10 associate professors, 25 assistant professors, 37 lecturers and 4 registrars.

They take part in the various seminars, short courses, etc. at country-abroad to increase the efficiency and arranged Scientific and Clinical seminar weekly.

Internationally recognized foreign speakers are invited 3-4 times in a year to the "Continuous Medical Education" programs and many foreign surgeons are come here for the operations of various complex diseases.

Teaching system of the college is based on more practical education and modern teaching method. Each student is under a good observation of the teacher due to the small group-wise teaching.

Account BenefitFace meeting, academic council meetings and teacher-parent meetings are organized here to keep running the education system. Here are the facilities of thematic modern labs, library and outdoor dental.

Each classroom has sophisticated digital multimedia systems, laptops, overhead projectors, slide projectors, EPIdiascope and digital sound system.

Update Dental College was ranked 1st and 5th place in professional BDS examination and 7th place in final examination under the Dhaka University.

Note that the Update Dental College has achieved these outstanding results among the government and private dental colleges under Dhaka University in the country.
