The government is concerned about the quality of education with the increasing number of pass and GPA-5.

So, the Ministry of Education has taken steps to verify the quality of education.

The Ministry will be verified by analyzing the value of the students' outcome in higher education institutions who have passed the public examination in recent years.

Officials of Education Ministry said, the results will be compared for the students who enrolled at the University by passing HSC on or later 2006. That's why the Ministry of Education prepared the statistics of HSC examination results from 2006 to 2014.

9.97 percent of the total students got GPA-5 in HSC 2014; 7.03 percent in HSC 2013. 2.94 percent in 2006 and it was 3.06 percent in 2007. Every year, the small number of GPA-5 holders and pass rate is increasing.
