Seminar on International Day for Peace

UNESCO Club of BRAC University organized a seminar on 'International Day for Peace' on its premises on September 29, 2014.

Kiichi Oyasu, Program and Education specialist, UNESCO Bangladesh was the chief guest while Dr. Piash Karim, Professor, Department of Economics and Social Sciences and Khan Ahmed Murshid, Director, Career Services Office, BRAC University spoke at the event.

The speakers talked about constraints of sustainable peace and voiced the fundamental prerequisites to ensure it by giving respect to others' rights, diversity and values. They also inspired the youth as global citizens to build a better world where people can live in harmony and stability.
