Students Admitted in RU without Syllabus and Classrooms

Admission in two new Dept. of RU

No teachers, syllabus is not created yet. Office and classrooms are not allocated yet. However, the Rajshahi University (RU) is going to admit students in the two newly launched departments under the academic session 2014-2015.

30 students will be admitted in the Department of International Relations under the Faculty of Social Sciences and 40 students in the Department of Banking and Insurance under the Faculty of Business Administration. Application via mobile phone has been called from the students to be admitted in those two departments.

Candidates have been asked to apply in 'E' Unit for the Department of International Relations and 'D' Unit for the Department of Banking and Insurance. Application process was begun from August 27, 2014 and runs till September 14, 2014 at 12:00 am.

Professor of History Department, Md. Abul Kashem appointed as the Chairman of the Department of International Relations and Professor of Finance and Banking Department, Abdul Kuddus appointed as the Chairman of the Department of Banking and Insurance but no teachers were recruited for both of the new departments.

Account BenefitThe syllabus of the Department of Banking and Insurance has been finalized in a meeting of the Academic Council but the Syllabus of the Department of International Relations not yet finalized.

Chairman of the International Relations Department, Abul Kashem said, "I hope everything will be settled in the meantime, since the classes of newly admitted students will begin in next January".

However, classes will be taken with part-time teachers if any delay occurred in the appointment of full-time teachers. Pro-Vice-Chancellor of RU, Professor Chowdhury Sarwar Jahan said classrooms will be allocated after the admission process.
