Sedition case against two publications

National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) has found prove of distortion in the biography of Bangabandhu Shaikh Mujibur Rahman in two of the creative Bangla note and guide books by Panjeree and Lecture Publications.

Education Ministry is preparing to file a sedition case and fortify all the books. The regarding investigation committee recommended to the Ministry of Education for seizure of alleged books including taking legal action against them.

A General Diary (GD) has been filed at the Shahbag Police Station on September 01, 2014 in the case of spreading the books with distorted information and arrogant texts about Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman across the country. The GD number is 54.

However, the alleged publication writing in their creative Bangla books that "Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had promised in mind to established the dreamed exploitation free Pakistan".

Publications companies sold their books across the country writing that for several times. The false information was also given about the birth date of Bangabandhu.

Account BenefitIt has been called in 64 number question of 199 number page of creative Bangla co-text book from Panjeree Publications that, "What is birth date of Bangabandhu?", four answers were asked to write down and the correct answer marked as March 20.

The name Bangabandhu was writing down as Sahera Khatun instead of Sayara Khatun in page 258 of the HSC Bangla co-text books from Lecture Publications.

They were committed the biggest crime in the related section of Bangabandhu's dream about evolution of the state of Bangladesh.

The Lecture Publications wrote in their books "Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had promised in mind to established the dreamed exploitation free Pakistan", while Bangabandhu struggled life-long for the establishment of dreamed Bangladesh.

Ministry and NCTB officials said the Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid ordered Professor Abul Kashem Mia, chairman of NCTB with all the related to quickly investigate the incident and file case if needed.
