JnU Students Couldn't Get the Treatment from National Medical

JnU students can't get medical treatment

To introduce the special treatment for Jagannath University (JnU) students at Dhaka National Medical College and Hospital stuck due to bureaucratic complexity.

The special treatment did not start after passes four months of taken the oral decision. As a result students of the University being deprived of medical treatment because of the absence of administrative approval.

The treatment will be given if the initiatives taken from the university, said the Hospital Authorities.

According to the university sources, a separate medical booth will be set up at Dhaka National Medical College Hospital for the students of JnU, the VC assured that about four months ago. He was framing the matter at the hospital's board of directors meeting on January of the current years. Hospital authorities verbally informed about the consent. But no parties are taken any steps after passes the four months.

Account BenefitDirector of National Medical College Hospital, MA Salam said, "We will be able to give treatment to the students if the initiatives will be taken from the university".

Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University, Professor Dr. Mijanur Rahman said, "A specific charge has to give to appoint a doctor. Beside this, there are some procedural issues, which are still ongoing. The steps will be taken as quickly as possible".
