Staff's Children Admission in SUST

The classes of Bachelor first year have been started at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). Now the administration takes the decision to start 'Staff's Children Quota'.

The administration has taken the decision due to the threat of employees strike approximately one month earlier to introduce the Adopted Quota, sources said. The Staff's Children Quota issue was not mentioned in current 2013-2014 session's admission notice of this university.

University administration sources said most of the children of university's teachers, officers and employees were unsuccessful who took part in the admission test. Due to this reason the employees threatened to strike before starting the merit admission. Then the university administration assures the Staff's Children admission. Then they withdrew the program.

Account BenefitAccording to the new decision, Staff's children will get the chance if they got 40 percent marks by the result of SSC, HSC and in the written test. The employees are in favor of not keeping these conditions. Their claims, if Staff's children then they will be admitted. In new rules, two child of a teacher, officer and employee will get this facility.
