Secretary General of OIC Calls on DU VC

OIC Secretary General at DU

Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Ameen Madani called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique on March 10, 2014.

Members of the OIC delegation, Education Secretary Dr. Muhammad Sadique, Dean of DU Science Faculty Professor Dr. Md. Yousuf Ali Mollah, Dean of Business Faculty Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, some officials of Foreign Ministry and Education Ministry were present on the occasion.

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interests. The Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique apprised Secretary General of OIC Iyad Ameen Madani of Dhaka University history since its inception and its academic programs in brief.

Account BenefitLater OIC Secretary General went round the campus accompanied by the Vice-Chancellor. He also visited Central Science Library, Curzon Hall, Chemistry Department and class room of Botany Department where he exchanged views with students and teachers.

Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique thanked the OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani for his visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic activities. He presented DU crest to OIC Secretary General.
