Public University Teachers Network Debuted on March 9

Teachers Network of Public University

Public University Teachers Network formed in a meeting held at Dhaka University. The network will working for the protection of public university through the participation of all public universities professors in the country.

The organization debuted on March 09, 2014 afternoon. Total 18 professors from DU, RU, JU and JnU attend the first conversation of the 'Teachers Network' at Higher Social Science Research Center, Lecture Theater Building of Dhaka University.

The participants are- Selim Reza Newton, Sushmita Chakrabarty, Bakhtiar Ahmed and Kazi Mamun Haider from Rajshahi University; Luna Mirza and Mahmudul Sumon from Jahangirnagar University; Fatema Sultana Shuvra, Taslima Atik, Imam Hossain Sumon from Jagannath University; Meher Nigar, Md. Nurujjaman, Alam, Mohammad Tanjimuddin Khan, Kazi Maruful Islam, Samina lutfa Nitra, Mohammad Azam, Mamun-Al-Mustafa and Fahmidul Haque from Dhaka University.

Account BenefitTotal of 50 teachers from different universities associated with the network as members. However, the number of members will be increased rapidly they thinks. Identify the limitations of the existing education system and provide the alternative practices will be the network's activity.

The organization will conduct activities through writing, research, seminars, conversations, activism and countrywide networking. The first activity of the organization will be conducted about the ongoing movements around RU and JnU.
