Freshers' reception at EUB

The freshers' reception - 2013 of the European University of Bangladesh (EUB) was held at Mirpur Bhaban on June 07, 2013, says a press release.

Home Minister Dr Mahiuddin Khan Alamgir, MP, and Chairman, Trustee Board, EUB, was the chief guest. Among others, freedom fighter Professor Dr. Mokbul Ahmed Khan, Vice Chairman, Trustee Board, EUB, and Nilufar Begum, Member, Trustee Board, were the special guests.

The program was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of EUB Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan. Dr. MK Alamgir advised the students to dedicate themselves to studies aiming their goal in life. He also advised them to think about their future careers seriously. He asked them not to waste their valuable time and hoped that proper education would lead them to become skillful in developing our country in the right direction.

Account Benefit Heads of different departments and about 800 students of EUB participated in the program. At last a colorful cultural function was held where artists of EUB performed.
