It was done enough! Admission tests was given in several public universities, but nowhere got the chance! The study will be stopped here, cannot be able to take the higher education anymore? Various questions like this maybe reeling in your mind due to not getting the chance in public universities; but life must not be stopped here.

There is no alternative of higher education if you want to live in the modern world, whether it would be public, private or national university. There is nothing to look the national university smaller in the current context of Bangladesh. Moreover, many of the students take their faces away from the National University due to a lot of session jam.

Some complexity has materialized in the functioning of National University (NU), as the number of colleges in the country has been increasing day by day. To reduce growing pressure on the NU, it will be decentralized. So, the students of next academic year will not be facing the session jam.
Subjects of NU: National University has approximately 30 to 35 subjects; students can take subjects by their choice. However, these subjects are given according to the merit position in the admission test. But every college is not having all the subjects, so it is better to choose the college by verify your demanded subjects.

The subjects of the National University are: Faculty of Arts- Bengali, English, Philosophy, History, Islamic Studies, Islamic History, Arabic, Pali and Sanskrit. Faculty of Social Sciences- Economics, Political Science, Social Sciences, Social Work, Public Administration, Anthropology, Home Economics. Faculty of Science- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Zoology, Botany, Psychology, Geology, Geography, Computer Science. Faculty of Business Studies- Finance and Banking, Accounting, Marketing, Management. Faculty of Law- Law.

Best colleges: There are almost 2600 colleges in the country under the National University. 279 colleges among them are Government Colleges. Mainly the students are applying for admission in the public colleges.
