Rajuk Uttara Model School and College was took the first place for third time in merit list of SSC results in the whole country. But the hazards come in the year of 2013 while the school moves two steps down into the third place.

The authorities of the school think that the key to success is the lots of efforts of all to grab the top position by overcome the failure. The school has been able to recover the crown for the enduring efforts of teachers-parents as well as the talent and perseverance of the students.

"Rajuk Uttara Model School and College takes the first place in this year from the attempt to overcome the failure of the 2013. The percentage of getting GPA-5 has been exceeded all the previous records although the first place for the fourth time. As usual the pass rate percentage is hundred percent this year", said Brigadier General Imamul Huda.

This year, 98.68 percent students got GPA-5. Last year, a total of 91.16 percent examinees got GPA-5. In 2012 the school was took place the 1st position continuously for third time. The GPA-5 was 94.05 percent.

The school has been successful through the exert efforts to seek out the mistakes of the past. Parents and students are agrees with the words of the principal. They also expressed satisfaction at the outcome of the school this year.

Our children got the success for their hard work and exceptional teaching.

Sheikh Fahim Shahriar dreamed to study in the Department of Genetic Engineering of Dhaka University in the future. He got the GPA-5 from Science Division (Roll 110460). Rayanul Sakib, got the GPA-5 from Science Division said the same thing. But he dreams to be a military officer.

Rajuk Uttara Model School and College topped the list of the best schools in this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination under Dhaka board.

Rajuk Uttara Model School and College is the best school in Dhaka board achieving the highest score in this year's SSC examinations. All its 515 examinees passed and 507 of them secured GPA-5.

To evaluate schools and make the top 20 list of schools in each board, the education ministry took into account their number of regular students, pass rate, the number of students with GPA-5, and the average GPA of students of a school.
