The faculty of thought does not always describe some of the unanswered questions about the nature and value of assessment. That is why everyone need to think about problems with assessment are the ongoing disagreement on the very purpose of education.

It is time for the center of attention of education to swing from what's "out there-the curriculum, assessments, classroom arrangement, books, computers-to the fundamental assumptions about and definitions of education held by educators and policymakers. So to meet up these psycho-dynamic demands of Rajhahi university students, there was a crying need to discharge this institutional extension of thought.

For this very reason, Mr. Arif Hasnath, a former student of Geography Department, RU, founded an organization on 4th April 1989, namely, Rajshahi University Newspaper Readers' Forum. This voluntary and career building organization is now a postulate and a dynamic zone for students and teachers.

Rajshahi University Newspaper Readers' Forum is a career oriented and voluntary organization at University of Rajshahi. The organization is always dedicated to provide those programs which are mostly needed to build a bright career. The mission and vision of this organization is to help the students of Rajshahi University acquire extra-curriculum skills along with pedantic faculty of knowledge. RUNRF includes Job preparation course, Computer course, English Language Course, etc as its regular activities.

The mission and vision of this organization is to help the students of Rajshahi University acquire extra-curriculum skills along with pedantic faculty of knowledge. The organization is directed by an executive council consisting 21 members under the direction of advisers body to run this organization. After every one year, the election of the executive council is done. The Forum has already become a highly accepted organization to student and teacher. The Forum has already received national and international recognition. Its ongoing total member is 4000 (increasing).

Their recent activities are - Discussion according to the B.C.S syllabus, Computer course, English Language Course, Debate competition, Publishing magazine as a "Career Forum", Taking model test for different competitive exam, Reading national and international Newspapers, Presentation panel, Annual Sports competition, Study tour and Arrange different Seminar and Symposium.
